There was no industry-specific tool that factored in personality, specializations, work style, or cultural compatibility. Susan Wos, a veteran salon owner and industry consultant, had spent years coaching owners through bad hires. She needed a platform that could codify her methodology — turning subjective compatibility into a data-driven matching system.

We built EnlightenedHire as a two-sided marketplace with a proprietary compatibility engine at its core. For salon owners, we developed a branded assessment that evaluates management style, salon culture, values, and team dynamics — producing a compatibility profile that drives match quality. For professionals, the platform captures specializations, certifications, career goals, and work preferences. The matching algorithm cross-references both profiles to surface ranked candidates with compatibility scores. On the product side, we designed a conversion-optimized public website with clear CTAs, trust signals, and SEO-driven content targeting salon owners actively searching for staff. The platform includes Stripe-powered subscription billing, admin dashboards, and automated email sequences. We also implemented a comprehensive SEO strategy that drove organic discovery — ranking for long-tail queries like 'hire salon professionals' and 'beauty industry recruitment platform'.
