Cuddly
Cuddly came to us as a concept: make finding reliable, short-term childcare as easy as ordering a ride. We turned that concept into a complete product — crafting the brand identity, designing the marketing strategy, building the public website, and engineering a full-stack matching platform with real-time booking, geolocation search, and integrated payments. This is what end-to-end product development looks like.

The Challenge
Canadian parents face a broken childcare discovery process. Word-of-mouth referrals are unreliable. Facebook groups and Kijiji postings offer zero vetting, no scheduling tools, and no payment protection. The market had no dedicated platform that combined trust, transparency, and convenience in one place. Cuddly's founder had the vision but needed a partner who could deliver everything — brand strategy, product design, go-to-market materials, and a production-ready platform — under one roof and on a startup timeline.
Our Solution
We became Cuddly's full product team, delivering across every discipline. Brand & Identity: We developed Cuddly's brand from scratch — name positioning, logo system, color palette, typography, and tone of voice. The brand balances warmth and trust with the professionalism parents expect when choosing caregivers for their children. Marketing & Sales: We designed and produced marketing collateral including print-ready posters, a pitch deck for investor meetings, and a conversion-optimized public website — all aligned to a cohesive brand narrative. UI/UX Design: We designed the complete user experience across web and mobile — parent dashboards, caregiver profiles, map-based discovery with geolocation, booking flows, calendar management, and real-time messaging. Every screen was prototyped and user-tested before development. Custom Software Development: We engineered the full-stack platform with React and Node.js — featuring profile management, availability scheduling, proximity-based matching, integrated Stripe payments, real-time notifications, and admin tooling. The responsive web app works seamlessly across desktop and mobile.
